Drum Set Lessons

It's important to find the right drum set teacher when you're serious about taking drum set lessons in Boise.

I've had the fortune of studying with great drum set teachers in Philadelphia and Seattle. I was able to put this first-class percussion instruction to good use when I served as the drum set player for the Boise Philharmonic from 2017 to 2022.

I'm also able to pass along these insights to my own drum students along with the perspective and experienced that I've gained in my 20-year teaching and performing career. When teaching drum set, it's important to address technique, musicianship, and styles. I have a syllabus that systematically covers these subjects along with sight reading and other percussion-related topics.

Boise-based students enrolled in drum set lessons are also eligible to borrow an instrument to practice on at no charge.
